The Due Drop Events Centre is one of Auckland’s most dynamic multi-purpose venues, regularly hosting conferences, concerts, exhibitions, and community events. For a space that transforms daily, the furniture needs to be as versatile as the events themselves.
To achieve this, we supplied more than 1,000 Annette Arena Floor Chairs, a perfect balance of elegance, practicality, and durability. With their double-thickness seat foam, the Annette chairs offer exceptional comfort for guests, even during longer events. The slimline design creates a modern, refined aesthetic, while the sturdy steel sled frame and perforated polypropylene backrest provide strength and breathability.
Flexibility was a key priority for this project. The Annette chairs are designed to stack up to 10 high individually or 30 high using a trolley, making it easy for the centre’s team to reconfigure spaces quickly and efficiently between events. Each trolley has a powder-coated frame with heavy-duty castors, ensuring smooth manoeuvrability even when fully loaded.
While black was chosen to create a cohesive, timeless look for the arena, the Annette range offers a wide variety of customisation options. With seat colours available in black, white, grey, red, navy, and avocado, and frame finishes in black or chrome, venues can tailor the chairs to suit their branding and interior style.
Every Annette chair is made in Italy and upholstered locally in New Zealand, backed by a 10-year commercial warranty and GreenGuard Gold Certification for low emissions and healthier indoor air quality. With a recommended maximum user weight of 140kg, they’re built to be inclusive, robust, and long-lasting.
